Subaru and Subaru (昴と彗星, Subaru to Subaru) is the newest racing manga by Shuichi Shigeno, it is the sequel to MF Ghost, which is the sequel to Initial D.
Plot[]
Subaru and Subaru tells the story of two young drivers competing in the new MFG Freshman Series, which is a 2nd-tier league created during the 5th year of MFG by Ryosuke Takahashi, due to the growing amount of new drivers wanting to enter the sport.
Subaru Sato is a young driver from Gunma who is part of Dream Project, the team created by Keisuke Takahashi to manage drivers like Sena Moroboshi. Sato will compete in the MFG Freshman Series with a Subaru BRZ using the number "F 88". She often crossed paths with Bunta Fujiwara on Mount Akina and now views him as a mentor.
Subaru Kudo is a young man from Kanagawa who mangaged to convince Ogata, who was Kanata Katagiri's booth representative and mechanic in Year 4 of MFG, to do the same for him in the MFG Freshman Series. Kudo will compete in the Series with a Toyota GR86 using the number "F 87".
